Overview: 

This immersive, four-cycle micro-experience is designed to equip you with the essentials of design thinking through interactive, hands-on learning. Whether you're an eager learner, a professional looking to upskill, an entrepreneur, or an innovator, this experience will provide you with practical tools to tackle real-world challenges.

You’ll select an industry-specific challenge and work through the four key phases of design thinking: Empathize, Define, Ideate, and Prototype. By the end of the programme, you will have built a portfolio-ready design thinking project, demonstrating your ability to apply innovative problem-solving strategies effectively.

Outcomes: 

By participating in this micro-experience, you will:

  • Be able to identify emergent knowledge or skills requirements and will be able to master it within required timescales.  
  • Approach new situations or problems with an open mind.  

Structure and Duration: 

Each cycle includes reading or watching foundational concepts, followed by researching real-world applications. Additionally, you’ll develop your portfolio through hands-on practice and engage in peer-to-peer meetings or preparation. This will require 5 -6 hours per cycle.
